Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a newly formed theatre company. From 2014 to 2019she was the artistic director for the Seoul Shakespeare Company. As Artistic director of SSC she served as SSC's composer, musician and text coach, as well as set/costume/music design. For her last year she served as director of lighting and design in SSC's production of King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble, however in the year that she made her directorial debut.
